Trevoir D. Gregg
Trevoir Gregg is a co-founder and Managing Partner of RLJ Credit. Mr. Gregg has over 18 years of financing experience, involving well over $2 billion in aggregate transactions. Prior to co-founding RLJ Credit, Mr. Gregg was a Principal with Allied Capital Corporation ("Allied Capital"), a publicly traded private equity investment firm with more than $4.5 billion of assets under management. At Allied Capital, Mr. Gregg executed and managed senior debt, mezzanine debt, and control equity investments in middle market companies. Also at Allied Capital, Mr. Gregg served as a member of the investment committee during 2009, and was a member of the credit committee of Allied's $2.5 billion asset management platform that invested in middle market and broadly syndicated loans from 2008-2010.
Prior to Allied Capital, Mr. Gregg was a Vice President and founding member of Carlyle Mezzanine Partners, L.P., an investment fund formed by The Carlyle Group, to focus on private debt and equity investments in middle market companies. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Gregg worked for GE Capital as a member of its Global Sponsor Finance team, responsible for underwriting middle market leveraged finance transactions. Mr. Gregg also has spent several years as an investment banker, focusing on leverage finance transactions in the energy, media, and communications sectors.
Mr. Gregg serves as an Executive Committee member on the Board of Governors of the Small Business Investor Alliance.
Mr. Gregg received a B.A. from Morehouse College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
